We’re looking for runners to join #TeamKings for the 4Bay 10k (Margate) on Sunday 7 June 2026.  

In advance of King’s first ever Giving Day (Thursday 25 June), we are putting together Team King’s – a collective of pupils, staff, OKS, and parents – who will run the 4Bay 10k together to raise awareness and funds for the Giving Day. Leading the team will be Jude Lowson (Head at King’s). Whether you’re a seasoned runner or looking for a challenge, run with Team King’s and make a difference! 

Requirements  

Collectively, Team King’s will aim to raise at least £500 in sponsorship. If they can, they will also unlock an extra £2,000 donation towards the Giving Day, thanks to a generous member of our community.  

As part of the Giving Day, all sponsorship will go towards the Charter Awards (transformational bursaries at King’s). By taking part, Team King’s will turn every kilometre into a transformational opportunity.  

How we’ll support you 

• Fundraising page – We will set up a dedicated Team King’s donation page for all runners, meaning all you need to do is share the link with friends and family! 
• Share on social media – We will help promote Team King’s and the donation page on social media.  
• Two tickets to the Serenade – As a thank you, you are welcome to join us as a guest of the Head at the Serenade during King’s Week. As a special guest, you will also attend the Benefactors Garden Party (drinks reception in the Archdeacons Garden) before the concert. 
• A King's branded goody bag - Complete with a King's water bottle, socks and a tote bag, which you can use on race day.

To join Team King’s, simply register for the 4Bay 10k here (£26 race registration fee – includes medal and refreshments). Entrants must be aged 15 and over on 07/06/2026.
